Joes Future Food is the Creator of China’s First Cultured Meat. Established in 2019, it is the first Chinese enterprise that conducted R&D of cultured meat. In 2009, the company’s team started R&D of cultured meat. Under the instruction of Professor Mark Post known as “Father of cultured meat”, he is proficient in technologies in the whole industrial chain, such as cell fate regulation and reactor amplification of cultured meat. Dr. Ding is the first doctor in the field of cultured meat in the world. The company’s team has more than ten years of technological accumulation with respect to cultured meat and whole-industry-chain capabilities and resources covering basic research, industrialization and supervision. Relying on Food Quality Engineering Technology Research Center under the Ministry of Science and Technology and ministerial Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center, the company combined all kinds of top resources to make a breakthrough. At present, the company has received investments of more than 70 million yuan from well-known investment institutions. It is committed to creating China’s first large-scale production and R&D platform of cultured meat and realizing meat production at the cell level.

R&D members of Joes Future Food are from well-known institutions of higher learning at home and abroad, such as University of Science and Technology of China, Nanjing University, Southeast University and Maastricht University. Members with doctor’s degree account for nearly 45% and the members with master or doctor’s degree account for nearly 80%.
